The most common symptom of a bad water pump is coolant leaking out the weep hole in pump casing It doesn't appear to be coming from anywhere on the top of the engine, or any of the coolant hoses, or the water pump weep hole If really bad it will leak all the time, if only kinda bad it won't leak much while running, but will leak when you shut down hot and coolant expansion pushes coolant out the weep hole.
