Coming from the square hole in the waterpump cover, i was just in the v again the other day, did not see any hoses leaking, but it's definitely apparent that the coolant is coming out of the square hole 1st guys des roberts motorcycle performance. Dang biggest problem with this st, cant run the engine to watch for leaks, because you need.
St1300 coolant leakmid 2020, i went to go for a ride and noticed a small puddle of coolant under the 1300 at the pointy end of the fairing behind the front wheel So i removed the plastic and traced the leak down to the overflow outlet on the side of water pump (see pictures) so i went around to the 3 bike shops in the area to find out what they thought and what repairs would cost I put it in at my local stealership to investigate as i can't be bothered these days with 'self maintenance', they diagnosed the long coolant hose was perished
I accepted the diagnosis, but here i am 6 months later with the same.
The st1300 has coolant hoses everywhere it seems and its a known leaker and stinker but seldom really causes a problem Its mostly weak oem hose clamps that loosen a bit over time it seems. My ultra reliable 2009 st1300 has developed a coolant leak at the thermostat junction Most likely a loose hose clamp

I no nothing about the st1300, try burping the system, its just like doing your car, take off the radiater cap, make sure its topped up with coolant, run the motor and just let it idle away and watch for it burping, you should see the air bubbles come up, and put the cap back on, top up your expansion tank, and give it a run and take it from.
